Welcome from Mrs O Kopitko – Upper School Leader

In Years 5 and 6, children begin an important stage of their education as they prepare for 11+ entrance exams and their transition to secondary schools. Our bespoke well-balanced curriculum is designed to nurture curious, confident and well-rounded individuals, and geared towards academic progress and personal development. Pupils benefit from subject specialist teaching, academic enrichment sessions and a wide range of extracurricular activities as the learning is complemented by engaging workshops, educational visits and residential trips. We place great value on oracy, critical thinking and public speaking, ensuring children grow in confidence as well as knowledge. Well-being is a key priority across the phase, supported by regular timetabled mindfulness sessions and strong pastoral care. We value our strong partnership with parents and believe that working closely together helps each child thrive.
