Welcome from Miss F McAteer – Middle School Leader

At Radlett Prep, our Middle School is an exciting stage in every child’s learning journey. As pupils move into Years 3 and 4, they grow in confidence, curiosity and independence while still receiving strong support. Our broad and creative curriculum is designed to stretch and nurture every learner, with teachers and Teaching Assistants working closely to provide engaging lessons, tailored support and a warm, inclusive environment.

Cross-curricular topics such as the Stone Age to Iron Age, South America, the Vikings and Ancient Greece bring learning to life through hands-on activities and meaningful exploration. Specialist teaching in subjects like Music, Drama, French, Computing and sport helps children discover their individual strengths, while school fixtures, clubs and memorable trips, including Year 3’s overnight camp and Year 4’s visit to Burwell House, build confidence and community. Above all, the Middle School aims to inspire a love of learning and prepare every child for the next stage of their educational journey.
