Welcome from Miss D Smith – Lower School Leader 

In Years 1 & 2 our topic-based curriculum sparks curiosity, creativity & a love of learning by offering children a broad & balanced journey through exciting themes that connect subjects in meaningful & memorable ways. The curriculum in both year groups turns every day into an adventure in learning through fun, engaging lessons & a genuine love of discovery. Young minds are inspired to explore, question & fall in love with learning from the very start!

Highlights

PE & games lessons making the most of our beautiful grounds

Computing- children are able their own laptops in the air-conditioned computing suite

Lunchtime- children have the choice to either bring in their own lunch or have a delicious hot one

Library- children can make use of our spectacular library where the choice of books is breath taking

Opal playtime- a new addition to our playtime’s where the children can play in different zones making playtime fun & imaginative

Golden Time- at the end of the week children in Year 1 & 2 have a set period to choose their own activities, be it colouring, reading, imaginative play, using construction toys
