Instrumental Lessons

Children from Years 3-6 are offered the opportunity to learn a musical instrument with peripatetic music teachers. The school has a few instruments for hire. Parents can also hire instruments from music shop rental schemes. Some parents purchase an instrument for their child, either at the start of tuition, or when sure that the child has “taken” to the instrument.

Tuition is offered in the following instruments: piano, violin, viola, flute, guitar, drums, trumpet, trombone and singing. Lessons are timetabled on a weekly rotation to ensure the least amount of disruption to classroom-based learning.
